The Data Analysis and Visualization (DBVIS) research group, led by Prof. Dr. Daniel A. Keim and founded in 2000, is a leader in Human-AI teaming, interactive data analysis, and visual analytics research. Based at the University of Konstanz, the lab combines academic research with real-world impact.

The group’s expertise spans key global industries, supporting efforts to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in domains such as public safety and civil security, digital humanities and linguistics, sports and behavioral analytics, and geo- and infrastructure analysis.
